Quote of the Month 3
The quote for June:
Everything you ever sense, in touch or taste or sight or even thought, has an effect on you that is greater than zero. Some things, like the background sound of a bird chirping as it passes your house in the evening, or a flower glimpsed out of the corner of an eye, have such an infinitesimally small effect that you may not detect them. Some things, like triumph and heartbreak, and some images, like the image of yourself reflected in the eyes of another, attach themselves to some secret gallery and they change your life forever.

Shantaram
So I finally made through the 930-some-odd page novel called Shantaram by Gregory Roberts. A fascinating story! And the guy is a pretty good story teller so I highly recommend the book. His pace is kind of weird though so I would find myself at times unable to put it down, but then in no big hurry to pick it back up again. In fact, at one point, I loaned the book out to a friend when I was only a third of the way through it. Upon its return though, I reread the beginning and continued on to the end. Again, a fascinating read if you consider the places this guy went and the things that he did.
