New Weapon in the Arsenal

Well, I went and did it!  Got a new weapon for the arsenal by convincing myself that it would make working on my site a shit load easier.  So, what did I get?  A new MacBook Air!!

Got it the day they announced them and was even foolish enough to upgrade to the gills.  It’s packing an i7 Processor with 8Gb Ram and a 512Gb SSD.

My hope/objective is to be able to put more work in on this site due to its portability.  I can use it anywhere in the house, so the wife won’t be nagging at me for disappearing into my study. I’ll also be able to use it on business trips so that I won’t have to use the iPad, which can be a pain in the arse to edit on.

Anywho, this is my first foray into a true Apple computing experience so I expect a bit of a learning curve.  I look forward to the challenge and seeing what everyone is always hootin’ about regarding Apple products.
